Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) SaaS product. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue and managing the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Identify and prioritize target accounts, develop account plans, and execute sales strategies to win new business
- Conduct discovery calls and product demos to qualify prospects and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead and manage the sales cycle, including preparing proposals and negotiating contracts
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns to generate leads and increase awareness of our product
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product, and engineering, to ensure customer satisfaction and product success
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitive landscape
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-8 years of experience in software sales, with a focus on SaaS solutions
- Experience selling contract lifecycle management software is a plus
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects and customers
